Real people program for real people

Charles Knutson , computer science professor at BYU, revolves his research around the "radical" assumption that software is created by people. He brings out this point in an attempt to remind us that creating and manipulating a deterministic machine doesn't necessarily mean that its creators are themselves deterministic. We are imperfect and require the same attention from management as any other human team. Along with this point, we must likewise remember that software is used by people. Our clients are individuals with very different life experiences and expectations. Don't be satisfied with a product that can't serve every potential client. To fail in this would be to discriminate against a certain subset of our potential clientele. Be willing to serve everyone.
