Let the World Help Remove Your Obstacles

I love to help people, especially when it comes to solving computer problems. When I discover that someone has been living with workaround-solutions for a while, I'm shocked that they haven't been able to fix the issue. Typically, they squirm around their computer for a few clicks, realize that they don't know how to resolve the problem, and blaze a longer trail around to where they want to get. What's more shocking is that I often don't know the solution to their problems either. Yet, three clicks and a four-word Google search later, I've already figured it all out. Don't get me wrong, I love that my job to help others has been ridiculously simplified. It's just disheartening to know that others in the world have encountered the same problem, documented the solution on the internet, and people aren't finding it! If the unlearned could figure out how to efficiently tap into all the information that's available, they'd be able to get on with the more important priorities in their lives, rather than wasting hours avoiding the little obstacles on their computer.
